     Our FOOTBALL TRIAL PROGRAMME

 

Our Michel HIDALGO INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL ACADEMY TRIAL PROGRAMME offers youth football players, aged between 16 and 22 years old, an exceptional PRO TRIAL football experience in southern France unlike any other. This football programme is an opportunity to be exposed to professional French football clubs and FIFA agents and scouts in the picturesque and football mad French Riviera.

The HIFA TRIAL PROGRAMME is located in the city of Cannes, on the Mediterranean coast, 30 km from the city of Nice and its international airport.

The participants are housed at the International College of Cannes in the area known as Cannes-La-Bocca, which is only 1 km from Cannes city centre and a 2 minute walk from the beach of the Bay of Cannes. They are lodging, eating and also studying French daily while at the trial programme.

The College is located near the stadium of the professional French club - A.S. Cannes. The A.S. Cannes football complex has both grass and turf pitches and is the official football training complex for the HIFA football programmes.

All participants will begin Week 1 with the U17, U19 or the 3rd Senior Team of AS Cannes.
During this week the Michel Hidalgo Academy staff will evaluate each participant’s ability level and make recommendations to our local FIFA players agents. The subsequent Week 2 and Week 3 trial weeks are set with our affiliated local professional clubs appropriate to each individual’s football ability and potential. French clubs include: AS Monaco FC, Olympic Marseille, OGC Nice, AS Cannes FC, Frejus Saint Raphael, ES Canet Rocheville, RC Grasse, US Mandelieu.

 

TUITION FEES : 4 990 €

Fees Include :

  • Airport transfer by air-conditioned bus or car round trip from Nice International Airport to Cannes
  • HIFA Jersey
  • Reception party the day of our arrival with host director, teachers, and Hidalgo staff attending. Guided walking tour of Cannes & welcoming presentation.
  • Bilingual monitor to accompany and supervise each participant daily throughout the programme
  • 1 session daily of intensive football training by FIFA licensed professional French coaches. Ratio of one coach per 8 youth. On quality grass or astroturf pitch. One day rest per week.
  • Participation in friendly matches with our associated clubs like OGC Nice, AS Cannes, AS Monaco … with the presence of club scouts and FIFA agents.
  • Physical conditioning sessions supervised by HIFA staff (2 to 3 per week)
  • Daily gym access, with personalized programme established by our staff
  • French language lessons five times per week, from 9 to 12 am, for the first 2 weeks. All language materials are provided. The language lessons are taught by native, qualified, experienced, and licensed teachers
  • Social activities
  • Twin or triple rooms at the International College. Meeting room, wireless connection, TV room, & library at disposal.
  • Full Board (3 meals daily) for participating youth
  • Adult monitor to supervise youth overnight at the campus
  • Farewell party
  • Repatriation insurance
  • HIFA PRO TRIAL Certificate of Completion & Presentation Ceremony on the last day of programme

All participants must be in excellent physical and mental conditions to register at our trial programme.
